Kynar

Chemically resistant, flame-retardant fluoropolymer used in pipes, cables, and lithium batteries.

PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) is a tough, chemically resistant fluoropolymer known for excellent UV stability, abrasion resistance, and purity. It performs well in harsh environments, withstanding acids, solvents, and radiation. Common in chemical processing, electronics, and water treatment, PVDF is valued for its reliability, strength, and long-term performance in demanding applications.

  • Capabilities

  • Source and/or compound a variety of grades and formulations.
  • Ability to compression mould and injection mould PVDF in a variety of shapes.
  • Fully equipped machine shop with 3,4, and 5-axis capabilities to create complex machined components.
  • Dedicated lab to test key properties and dimensions.

Key Properties

  • Heat Resistance
  • High Abrasion Resistance
  • Low Permeability to most Gases and Liquids
