Overview
Polymer conduits are protective tubes designed to house and guide electrical wiring, fluid transfer lines, or fiber optics in chemically aggressive or high-purity environments. Fabricated using PTFE, PVDF, or PEEK, these conduits offer superior chemical resistance, excellent thermal endurance, and exceptional flexibility. They are non-conductive, flame retardant, and lightweight—making them ideal for use in aerospace, medical devices, semiconductors, and instrumentation. The smooth internal bore minimizes fluid drag or particle buildup, ensuring clean, uninterrupted flow. In cable protection applications, they shield against electrical interference and mechanical abrasion. With the ability to perform in temperatures ranging from cryogenic to over 250°C (depending on the polymer), these conduits provide a robust solution for complex routing where performance, cleanliness, and safety cannot be compromised.
Poly Fluoro has the capability to mould polymer conduits with a variety of fillers including glass, carbon, bronze, and graphite. Customised fillers and concentrations can also be provided.
We also have the capability to machine to tolerances as low as 20 microns. Our state-of-the- art machine shop has turning, turn-milling, and milling capabilities of up to 5-axes. This allows us to machine to a level of complexity unattainable by regular machining operations.
Further, our testing labs allow us to check key properties and dimensions specific to the polymer. Special testing rigs can be designed to ensure that leak tests and pressure tests are conducted in-house, before dispatch. Our extensive Quality Management Systems ensure that our customers are guaranteed a world-class end-product every single time.
