Polymer cushions and clamps are used to securely hold pipes, tubing, or cables while minimizing vibration, noise, and abrasion. Manufactured from durable polymers like PTFE, UHMWPE, and PVDF, they are designed for use in demanding aerospace, industrial, chemical, and cleanroom environments. These materials offer excellent chemical resistance, non-stick properties, and long-term thermal stability—making them ideal for corrosive or high-temperature conditions.
Polymer cushions absorb shock and distribute load evenly, reducing wear on both the clamp and the pipe or tube. Their low-friction surfaces prevent chafing and degradation, which is especially valuable in dynamic systems or areas with frequent movement. They are lightweight, easy to install, and maintain alignment over time, providing a reliable and maintenance-free solution for securing process lines.
Poly Fluoro has the capability to mould polymer cushions with a variety of fillers including glass, carbon, bronze, graphite, PTFE, and graphene. Customised fillers and concentrations can also be provided.
We also have the capability to machine parts to tolerances as low as 20 microns. Our state- of-the-art machine shop has turning, turn-milling, and milling capabilities of up to 5-axes.
