Membranes and filters are generally available in roll form but can also be punched to size as needed. ePTFE Membranes are made using bi-axially stretched ePTFE and come either plain or with a laminated polymer backing for easy handling. They can also be given an adhesive backing to allow for easy installation and application
ePTFE membranes have a unique property of allowing vapour and gas to pass through, but not liquids and dust. This valve-like property makes it an invaluable material in various venting applications, where the passage of gas needs to be allowed without compromising on the entry of other foreign agents into a system.
