Overview
PTFE films are made through a special process called skiving. They are usually manufactured using virgin PTFE, in thicknesses of 0.04mm to 0.1mm and are primarily used in insulation, cable wrapping, or as battery separators in high-end applications.
At Poly Fluoro our skived films can also be customised based on client requirements. These include:
- Films with fillers of Graphene and/or Vulcan to induce anti-static properties
- Pigmented films for identification
- UHMWPE films – like PTFE, but with better wear properties
Our films can also be customised for width and roll lengths, depending on client demands.
