PTFE films are made through a special process called skiving. They are usually manufactured using virgin PTFE, in thicknesses of 0.04mm to 0.1mm and are primarily used in insulation.

Properties Benefits
Tensile strength up to 30Mpa High strength-to-weight ratio for rigorous mechanical usage
Anti-static and ESD grades available Effective in specialised electrical applications
Dielectric resistance of up to 150KV/mm Insulating medium for heavy electrical assemblies
Tolerant to temperatures of up to 220°C Effective in high-heat applications
