Compression Moulding
The preferred method for moulding PTFE shapes, compression moulding allows for the manufacture of large PTFE parts. We are able to manufacture sizes from 20mm to 500mm in diameter. Our extensive portfolio of in-house moulds and dies ensures that wastage is minimised, even for irregular sizes.
Paste Extrusion
As one of the pioneers of paste extrusion in India, our expertise extends into the extrusion of PTFE tubes, profiles and expanded PTFE (ePTFE) tapes. Our continuous line CNC controlled systems can extrude from diameters of 3mm up to 40mm and wall thicknesses as low as 0.4mm. We also have the capability to alter the density of our materials as well as maintain tolerances as close as 50 microns giving us a versatility that is truly world-class.
In-situ Moulding
For materials like PEEK, PPS, PVDF, and Polyimide, in-situ moulding is a low-cost alternative to injection moulding. We are able to manufacture sizes from 50mm to 300mm in diameter. Although a relatively slow process, this moulding technique is essential for making parts with high cross-sections. Typically, large, low-volume parts benefit from this method.
Injection Moulding
The preferred option for high-volume, intricate parts that would otherwise be too slow, too complex, or too expensive to manufacture by machining. We have a specific focus on high-performance plastics such as PEEK, PPS, PEI, Polyimide, and PVDF. Our state-of-the art, specially modified press is ideally suited to such high-temperature polymer, allows us to mould sizes of up to 100mm in diameter.
RAM Extrusion
Although more common than paste extrusion, RAM extrusion allows for higher wall thickness tubes in diameters as high as 150mm. The continuous like RAM extrusion allows for long length, high-bore tubes with wall thicknesses of 3mm and above.
