PTFE sheets can be made either by skiving or by moulding. Skived sheets are usually in thicknesses of 0.1mm to 4mm, while moulded sheets are of higher thicknesses.
PTFE sheets find numerous applications in load bearings, insulation, sliding supports, and wear plates. They are usually produced in a variety of grades such as bronze, glass, and carbon and can be made and pigmented as required.
